RESOLUTION NO, 3037
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TIBURON COMMENDING
MARGO ZENDER-WIVIOTT
FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE TOWN
WHEREAS, Margo Zender-Wiviott was instrumental in the
establishment of the toddler children's playground, known as the Tugenberg
Playground, and
WHEREAS, Margo recognized the need for older children's play
equipment and conceived the idea for a fund raising campaign, and
WHEREAS, it was Margo's intent to raise $20,000 by selling tiles with
donor names to be installed in the playground at the South of Knoll Park,
and
WHEREAS, through her dedication, perseverance and endless
determination she was able to raise over $38,000 in six months for the
purchase of playground equipment and playground improvements, and

WHEREAS, on June 25, 1994 the older children's playground, known
as the Edward and Laleh Zelinsky Playground, was dedicated in a joyous
celebration,
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council orthe
Town of Tiburon does hereby express its sincere appreciation to Margo
Zender.Wiviott for outstanding service to the Town and the community by
making the children's dream of new playground equipment a reality.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Tiburon on .Tulv 20. 1994, by the following vote:
