RESOLUTION NO. 3017
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TIBURON ESTABLISHING AN
EMPLOYEE INCENTIVE AWARD PROGRAM
WHEREAS, The Town desires to establish a program which would recognize and
award any Town employee who has demonstrated either special or outstanding job
performance or innovative cost savings, suggestions or ideas, and
WHEREAS, the implementation of such a program would require the Town
Council to annually appoint an Incentive Compensation Committee comprising of the
Mayor, a Councilmember and the Town Manager who would review,evaIuate and
confirm employee nominations for incentive award consideration, and
WHEREAS, the Town Manager would be required to provide the Incentive
Compensation Committee with proposed nominations and justification documents after
employee evaluations at the close of each fiscal year, and

WHEREAS, such incentive compensation awards would be determined following
the close of the fiscal year at an appropriate Town Council and StatT recognition
program, and
WHEREAS, an employee incentive award would be considered as a one-time only
appropriation and would have no etTect on an employee's salary or fringe benefits.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Town Council of the Town
of Tiburon does hereby establish an Employee Incentive Award Program which shall
be implemented in accordance with the above procedure, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon
does hereby authorize an annual budget allocation, not to exceed one percent (1%) of
the Town's annual compensation costs, for the purpose of funding the Employee
Incentive Award Program.
