RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON DESIGNATING
MAY 1994 AS OLDER AMERICANS MONTH
WHEREAS, May is traditionally Older Americans Month, a time to celebrate
and pay tribute to seniors, and
WHEREAS, the national theme this year is "Older American's Month:
Celebrating Long Life and Good Health", and
WHEREAS, good eating, exercise programs and access to quality health care
add to the quality of life,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, on behalf of the residents of the
Town of Tiburon that the Town Council honors the contributions of older Americans
and encourages them to live active, healthy lives through increased knowledge of
nutrition and exercise programs.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on April 6, 1994, by the following vote:
