RESOLUTION NO. 3292
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TmURON
RECOGNIZING CORPORAL DONALD 1. COMFORT
FOR TWENTY-FOUR YEARS OF SERVICE
AS A POLICE OFFICER WITH THE TOWN.
WHEREAS, Corporal Donald 1. Comfort began his career a police officer with the Town of
Tiburon from June 5, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, Corporal Comfort has worked for twenty-four years to ensure the safety of the
citizens of the Town of Tiburon; and,
WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Tiburon Police Department, Corporal Comfort
worked diligently in various capacities, such as an investigator, juvenile officer, field training officer,
and D.A.R.E. officer; and,
WHEREAS, after providing commendable service to the public, Corporal Comfort has elected
_ to retire as ofJune 6, 1998,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon does
hereby commend Corporal Donald J. Comfort for his service to the community and wishes him well
in his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at the regular meeting ofthe Tiburon Town Council on July 15,
1998, by the following vote:
