RESOLUTION NO. 3285
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TmURON
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF STREET LIGHTS
FROM TmURON TO THE MSLAJPA
WHEREAS, developers routinely install new street lights and associated facilities
("street lights") within Tiburon;
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Town of Tiburon that newly acquired street
lights be transferred to the Marin Street Light Acquisition Joint Powers Authority
("MSLAJPA");
WHEREAS, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon wishes to delegate the
authority to transfer the street lights to the Tiburon Public Works Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED:
1. Tiburon's Superintendent of Public Works is designated the person who has the
authority to transfer street lights to the MSLAJP A.

2. Upon the dedication of a street light to the Town of Tiburon, the Superintendent
of Public Works shall prepare a TRANSFER OF STREET LIGHT to the MSLAJPA by
filling out the attached form and mailing it by first class mail to the Executive Director of
the MSLAJP A.
3. Upon acknowledgment of receipt of the TRANSFER document it is duly
established by law that the street light shall be transferred to the MSLAJPA.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tiburon Town Council on
June 17, 1998, by the following vote:
