RESOLUTION NO. 3264
A RESOLUTION OF THE TlliURON TOWN COUNCIL
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 3258 TO ADD THE RANCHO DRIVElBARN ROAD
AREA TO THE REQUEST THAT THE LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION
UNDERTAKE PROCEEDINGS FOR
THE "CYPRESS HOLLOW ANNEXATION"
WHEREAS, on January 21, 1998, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 3258
requesting that LAFCO undertake proceedings for the annexation of the Cypress Hollow
Subdivision into the Town ofTiburon; and
WHEREAS, at that time, the Town Council directed staff to determine whether property
owners in the adjacent Rancho Drive/Barn Road area were also interested in annexation to the
Town of Tiburon; and
WHEREAS, a mailed survey indicated interest in annexation by 18 of the 26 owners
affected, with only 5 not interested in annexation; and
WHEREAS, based upon the results of the survey, the Town Council finds substantial
property owner support for including the Rancho Drive/Bam Road area in an annexation effort
- already endorsed by the Town in Resolution No. 3258.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution No. 3258 is hereby amended
to add the Rancho Drive/Bam Road area to the request to undertake annexation proceedings and
to revise Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 3258 as shown in the attached Exhibit "I".
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tiburon Town Council on
February 18, 1998 by the following vote:
