RESOLUTION NO. J..Q25.
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON APPROVING
THE RATE OF TAX LEVY APPLICABLE TO THE
TOWN'S 1972 OPEN SPACE BOND ISSUE
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1995-96
WHEREAS, in 1972 the voters approved the issuance of Open Space Bonds by the Town
of Tiburon to acquire certain real property; and
WHEREAS, an override tax rate for Fiscal Year 1995-96 is applicable to this bonded
indebtedness; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Director estimates that total local secured assessed value for
Fiscal Year 1995-96 will be approximately $1,361,693,000,000, and Fiscal Year 1995-96 debt
service requirements will be $72,200, and has calculated that the override tax rate per $100.00 of
secured assessed valuation should be 0.0053. The override rate, expressed as a share of total
secured assessed valuation, is equal to 0.00005302.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon
does hereby approve the rate of 0.0053 per $100.00 oflocal secured assessed valuation as the
override tax levy applicable to the 1972 Open Space General Obligation bond issue for Fiscal
Year 1995-96, and directs the Finance Office to transmitthis information to the Marin County
Office of the Auditor-Controller.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon on June 7 1995 by the following vote:
