RESOLUTION NO. 3194
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OFTIBURON
REQUESTING THE TOWN OF KINSALE, IRELAND
TO BECOME A TWIN/SISTER CITY
WITH THE TOWN OF TIBURON. CALIFORNIA USA
WHEREAS, the Town Council heard a report of Council member's Hennessy recent
visit to this beautiful seaport Town; and
WHEREAS, members of the Town Council ofthe Town of Tiburon have reviewed
photographs and brochures describing the Town of Kinsale; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon has been in contact with the Town of Kinsale and
has sent photographs and brochures describing our Town; and
WHEREAS, a Twin/Sister City relationship is intended to establish good will
between communities throughout the world which have similar interests; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Twin/Sister City relationship between the Town of
Tiburon and the Town of Kinsale will encourage a program of exchange of information
between the local government townships and school districts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a Twin/Sister City relationship be
established between the Town of Tiburon and the Town of Kin sale.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon on November 20, 1996, by the following vote: -
