RESOLUTION NO. 3008
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
POLICE CAPTAIN STEVEN G. LEWIS
WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon would like to take this opportunity to express its
appreciation to Tiburon Police Captain Steven G. Lewis; and
WHEREAS, Captain Lewis has been an employee of the Police Department of the
Town ofTiburon for seven years, starting as a Police Sergeant and being promoted to Police
Captain; and
WHEREAS, Captain Lewis was instrumental in ensuring the Police Department
provided a professional approach to the delivery of police services to residents, business
persons and visitors to the Town; and,
WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Town of Tiburon, Captain Lewis often
provided leadership in very difficult and tenuous situations in an outstanding manner,
receiving accolades from the public, as well as other employees of the Police Department
and Town StatT,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that on behalf of the residents ofthe Town
of Tiburon, the Town Council does hereby extend to Captain Steven G. Lewis its sincere
appreciation and gratitude for his dedicated service and commitment to the Town of
Tiburon, and wish him continued success in his career.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon on April 6, 1994, by the following vote:
