RESOLUTION NO. 3170 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON AMENDING THE MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW TOWN HALL WHEREAS, on May 29, 1996, the Town of Tiburon awarded the contract to construct the new Town Hall to Midstate Construction, Inc.; and WHEREAS, the Town adopted a management plan for the administration of the construction contract on May 15, 1996, by adopting Resolution No. 3158 ("Management Plan"); and WHEREAS, the Management Plan established a Project Management Team with authority to approve change orders that would affect the cost of the contract by five thousand dollars ($5000) or less; and WHEREAS, the Town Council further finds it appropriate, at the request of the Building Advisory Committee, to modifY the management plan to establish a subcommittee with the power to approve change orders that would affect the contract price for the Town Hall project by more than five thousand dollars ($5000). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town ofTiburon that the Management Plan for the Town Hall Project adopted on May 15, 1996 by Resolution No. 3158 is amended to authorize a Council's subcommittee, consisting ofJerry Thayer and Andrew Thompson, to approve any change orders to the contract to approve change orders that would affect the contract price for the Town Hall project by more than five thousand dollars ($5000). All other provisions of the Management Plan shall remain in full force and effect, including, without limitation, the authorization of the Town Manager to approve change orders under the limited circumstances set forth in Resolution No. 3158. r- PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon on June 19, 1996 by the following vote: ,...
