A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON
RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING SERGEANT BOB ROSSI
FOR HIS DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO THE TOWN OF TIBURON
WHEREAS, Sergeant Rossi has faithfully served the citizens of the Town of Tiburon
since February 25,1991; and
WHEREAS, during Sergeant Rossi's career with the Town he has served in the capacity
of police officer, police field training officer, police corporal, and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Rossi quickly, smoothly and successfully made the transition from
a police corporal to a police sergeant, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge oflaw
enforcement and community involvement; and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Rossi has served as both a respected leader and mentor to his co-
workers, and
WHEREAS, Sergeant Rossi has brought with him a sense of compassion, dedication and
diligence to his chosen profession; and

WHEREAS, after two days into his retirement Bob Rossi came to the
Town's assistance and began working as a contract police officer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon hereby recognizes Sergeant Bob Rossi for his distinguished service to the Town of
Tiburon over the last fifteen years,
BE IT FURTHER RESOL YED, that the Town Council commends Sergeant Bob Rossi
for his dedication and professionalism, and wishes him all the best in his retirement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting ofthe Tiburon Town Council on May
17, 2006, by the following vote:
