RESOLUTION No. 10-2006 A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON AMENDING THE TIBURON GENERAL PLAN WHEREAS, on September 7, 2005, the Town Council adopted Resolution No. 45-2005 adopting the Tiburon General Plan, Tiburon 2020; and WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon has determined that amendments to the General Plan are needed to correct a number of inadvertent errors contained within Tiburon 2020; and WHEREAS, on January 25, 2006, the Tiburon Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 2006-04, recommending to the Town Council approval of amendments to the Tiburon General Plan, Tiburon 2020, intended to correct these errors; and WHEREAS, a display ad notice of the public hearing on the amendments was published in the Ark newspaper on February 1, 2006 and other noticing was provided as required by law; and -- WHEREAS, the Town Council did hold a duly noticed and advertised public hearing on February 15, 2006, at which testimony was received from the public; and WHEREAS, the Town Council has determined that the amendments associated with the project have no potential to result in adverse impacts on the environment and are within the scope of the previously certified ErR for the Tiburon 2020 General Plan, wherein no additional review is required; and WHEREAS, the Town Council finds that the proposed amendments and maps are consistent with the goals, policies, and programs of the Tiburon General Plan, Tiburon 2020. Tiburon Town Council Resolution No. 10-2006 Adopted on Februery 15, 2006 2 EXHIBIT A The Land Use Diagram contained within the Land Use Element of the General Plan is amended to change the designation of the followin!~ properties to Medium High Density Residential: . 210 & 220 Blackfield Drive (Marin County Assessor's Parcel Nos. 038-351-27 & 28; 8.,1 Aire Subdivision; R-1-8A zone) . 121 8arn Road (Marin County Assessor's Parcel Nos. 034- 012-38,40,54 & 61; R-1 zone) The Land Use Diagram contained within the Land Use Element of the General Plan is amended to change the designation to Parks & Recreation for the following properties: . Marin County Assessor's Parcel No. 039-031-18 (adjacent to 120 & 130 Gelder! Drive; 12 ~. 1 e, Malvino Court; 115 & 117 Harn Court; and 15,25 & 3~i Mark Terrace) . Marin County Assessor's Parcel No. 055-131-19 (adjacent to 20 & 30 Pine Terrace) The following language is added to the top of Page 2-12 of the Land Use Element: "Marine designations allow water-related activities subject to specifiC regulations contained within the M (Marine) zone classification of the zoning ordinance."
