CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Slavitz called the regular meeting of the Tiburon Town Council to order at the amended
start time of6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 1,2003, in Town Council Chambers at 1505
Tiburon Boulevard, Tiburon, California.

Mayor Slavitz read, "An Ordinance of the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon adopting
various amendments to, and rezoning certain properties designated within, Chapter 16 (Zoning)
of the Tiburon Municipal Code."

COUNCIL COMMITTEE AND COMMISSION REPORTS
Councilmember Thompson asked whether there had been any leads established on who was
responsible for the vandalism at the Gazebo and South Knoll Park.
Chief of Police Odetto said that two individuals had been identified and interviewed; that the
police had staged an undercover operation over the weekend in the vicinity of the vandalism and
that Tiburon officers were doing extra patrols on the multi-use path.
Vice Mayor Fredericks gave a brief report on the progress of the Community Advisory
Committee (proposed County-wide Sales Tax Expenditure Plan) which focused on possible uses
of STIP funding to obtain matching grants for local street repairs.

ADJOURNMENT - in Memory of Phil Molten
Councilmember Berger said that Mr. Molten had devoted 35-40 years of his time and service to
"things of interest" to the Town. Berger noted that Molten was one of the founding members of
the Landmarks Society, as well as one of the first Marin County students to be accepted into
MIT. He said that Phil had been a friend to his family, as well.

There being no further business before the Tiburon Town Council, Mayor Slavitz adjourned the
meeting at 6: 11 p.m., in honor of Phil Molten, sine die.
