SUBJECT: Side Letter to Memorandum of Understanding
Dear Michael:
Pursuant to our recent meet and confer discussions regarding Section 7.6 Disability
Insurance of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Tiburon and SEIU
Local 1021, members have elected to increase the monthly maximum disability benefit
amount from $1,500.00 to $4,000.00. Per the Memorandum of Understanding, premium
increases that result from the increased benefit will be borne by the members through the
cafeteria benefit plan. The increased benefit will apply to all members and participation
in the plan is required.
A copy of the disability insurance policy with the new effective date will be provided to
you once it has been executed by the Town.
