RESOLUTION NO. 2695
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TIBURON RECOGNIZING DAVE TEATHER FOR
HIS MANY CONTRIBUTIONS AND OUTSTANDING
SERVICE TO THE TIBURON COMMUNITY
WHEREAS, DAVE TEATHER has faithfully served Tiburon since its
incorporation, serving on the Parks & Recreation Commission from 1967 to
1971, and currently serving as Tiburon's Poet Laureate since 1982, and
WHEREAS, DAVE TEATHER is both a charter member and one of
the original organizers of Tiburon's annual celebration - Ayala Day, and
WHEREAS, LOUISE TEATHER must likewise be commended for her
overall dedication and service to Tiburon as Town Historian since 1971, and
for her personal stamina and perseverance in the New Town Hall efforts, and
WHEREAS, DAVE & LOUISE TEATHER have not only resided in
Tiburon for forty-four (44) years, but during this time they have both served
the Town and have contributed so much to the betterment of the Tiburon
Peninsula community and were named Tiburon's 1982 Citizens of the Year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon does hereby recognize and acknowledge its sincere
appreciation to DAVID H. TEATHER for his many years of dedicated
community service, active civic participation and many contributions to the
Tiburon community, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council of the Town of
Tiburon does hereby extend its best wishes and congratulations to DAVID H.
TEA THER upon the 80th Anniversary of his birth.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Tiburon on April 18, 1990 by the following vote:
