RESOLUTION NO. 2673
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TIBURON STATING ITS INTENTION
TO UNDERGROUND UTILITIES ALONG TIBURON
BOULEVARD BElWEEN STEWART DRIVE AND PINE TERRACE
WHEREAS, Tiburon Boulevard currently has utility poles and
overhead lines located along Tiburon Boulevard between Stewart Drive and
Pine Terrace, and
WHEREAS, this proposed utility undergrounding area along Tiburon
Boulevard has been determined by the Town Council to have significant
public and scenic interest, and
WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon proposes to utilize its Rule 20A
funds for funding of this project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon does hereby state its intention to proceed with the
undergrounding of utilities along Tiburon Boulevard between Stewart Drive
and Pine Terrace, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Town Council does direct
Town Staff to proceed with the affected utility companies and to establish the
utility undergrounding district boundaries and set the public hearing
regarding formation of the proposed Rule 20A utility undergrounding district.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Tiburon on February 21, 1990 by the following vote:
