RESOLUTION NO. 2743
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TIBURON CONGRATULATING
KEITH MORRISON
AS TIBURON PENINSULA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
1990 CITIZEN OF THE YEAR
WHEREAS, Keith Morrison is a fourth generation Californian and
long-time resident of the Tiburon Peninsula, and
WHEREAS, Keith Morrison has long been associated with programs
and activities for disadvantaged and handicapped children, and
WHEREAS, in 1983 he established the annual Tiburon Christmas
Cruise party for children in Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and
WHEREAS, in 1985 he founded the Angel Island Institute of
California and serves as its President, and
WHEREAS, Keith Morrison previously served as Sarasota County
Director of Development in Florida, he has more recently served as General
Manager for Main Street Properties and its Downtown Planning Director.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that th2 Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon does recognize and congratulate Keith Morrison upon being
named by the Tiburon Peninsula Chamber of Commerce as 1990 Citizen of
the Year and designates November 14, 1990 as Keith Morrison Day in
Tiburon.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council
of the Town of Tiburon on November 7. 1990 by the following vote:
