HomeMy WebLinkAboutTC Res 1991-07-17 (3) RESOLUTION NO. 2796 RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON ESTABLISHING AN APPROPRIATION LIMIT PURSUANT TO ARTICLE XIII B. OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA WHEREAS, Article XIII B. of the Constitution of the State of California provides that total annual appropriations subject to exceed the appropriations limit of such entity of government for the prior year adjusted for changes in the cost of living and population, except as provided for in Article XIII B; and WHEREAS, pursuant to Article XIII B. of the Constitution of the State of California, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon deems it to be in the best interests of the Town of Tiburon to establish an appropriations limit for the Fiscal Year 1991-1992; and WHEREAS, the Finance Director of the Town of Tiburon determined that said appropriations limit for 1991-1992 shall be established in the amount of $2,536,956. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon that an appropriations limit in the amount of $2,536,956 is established for Fiscal Year 1991-1992 pursuant to Article XIII B. of the Constitution of the State of California.
