RESOLUTION NO. 2769
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF TIBURON PROHIBITING OVERNIGHT PARKING AT
BUCKlE'S PASTURE AND AUTHORIZING THE
REMOVAL OF VEmCLES ILLEGALLY PARKED
WHEREAS, Vehicle Code Section 21113 authorizes the Town Council to
regulate the parking of vehicles at Town-owned property; and
WHEREAS, Vehicle Code Section 22651(n) authorizes the removal of any
vehicle parked in any place prohibited by resolution of the Town Council; and
WHEREAS, both Vehicle code Sections 21113 and 22651(n) require posting
of signs giving notice of the parking regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Town Council of the Town
of Tiburon as follows:
1) No vehicles shall be parked or left standing on the Town's property known
as Blackie's Pasture between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m.
2) No truck tractor, semitrailer or tank vehicle shall be parked at Blackie's
Pasture at any time.
3) Vehicles parked in violation of this resolution may be removed at the
owner's expense under the direction of an officer of the Tiburon Police Department
or a citation may be issued.
4) This resolution shall not take effect until signs are posted at Blackie's
Pasture giving notice of the prohibition against parking between the hours of 10:00
p.m. and 5:00 a.m. and that any vehicles in violation may be removed.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the
Town of Tiburon on March 6, 1991, by the following vote:
