Please reference the previous two memoranda on this subject, dated
June 26, 1998, and May 14, 1999, copies attached. It is now evident
that the General Contractor will not complete the project until some
date in late July with completion of punchlist corrections extending
into August or later. Therefore, this is a request to extend the
subject project management services on the same basis as before,
through the month of July and later as you direct on a week-to-week
basis, depending upon job progress.
As noted before, the cost to the Town for this further extension
will be offset in full by the on-going liquidated damages of $500
per calendar day which will be assessed the General Contractor
commencing with the contract completion date of April 22, 1999.
We still do not expect the General Contractor to be able to justify
any time extension for the delayed completion.

or the project status.
