QUITCLAIM DEED
The Reed Union School District ("Grantor"), hereby quitclaims to the Town of
Tiburon, a municipal corporation, all right, title and interest which it may have in and to
the real property situated in the Town of Tiburon, Marin County, California, which is more
particularly described in Exhibit "1" attached hereto and inco orated herein.

A portion of the Lands of the Town of Tiburon, Lot Two as shown
upon the parcel map entitled "Parcel Map Lands of Town of Tiburon",
filed in Book 26 of Parcel Maps, Page 43, recorded December 11,
1997, County of Marin, California.
Said portion of the herein above referenced Lot Two described as
follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the Northeasterly right of way line of
Tiburon Boulevard, the California State Highway from Belvedere
crossing to Tiburon, which point bears North 27006' East, 50.00
feet from Engineer's Station 229+24.69 on the centerline survey of
said highway and shown on the highway plans; thence from the point
of beginning North 62054' West, 49.77 feet; thence leaving said
Northeasterly right of way line along a circular curve to the right
the center of which bears North 27006' East, with a radius of 20.00
feet, through a central angle of 900001, an arc length of 31.42
feet to a point; thence from said point South 62054' East, 15.00
feet; North 27006' East, 36.14 feet; South 62054' East, 10.00 feet
to a point; thence from said point along a circular curve to the

RESOLUTION NO. 3256
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON ACCEPTING A QUITCLAIM DEED
FOR PROPERTY AT 1101 TIBURON BOULEVARD
ASSESSOR PARCEL NUMBER 58-151-23 (PORTION)
WHEREAS, the Reed Union School District (RUSD) has offered to quitclaim any right,
title or interest in a parcel of land to the Town of Tiburon (Tiburon), including any rights to use of
the parcel derived from a land lease and use agreement entered into on February 28, 1978, and
subsequently amended on August 31, 1987, and November 4, 1994. Said parcel of land is
proposed for use by the Town of Tiburon as the site of a new police station and is described in
attached Exhibit "1 and
WHEREAS, Tiburon is simultaneously offering to grant the RUSD a portion of a parcel
of land in exchange for the above offer of quitclaim, said portion being offered to the RUSD being
described on the attached Exhibit "2"; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose that, as a result of the above conveyances, the
Town of Tiburon shall be the fee simple owner of property described in Exhibit "3" attached
hereto, said parcel being commonly known as 1101 Tiburon Boulevard and also being the
proposed site of a new police facility for the Town of Tiburon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the above referenced offer of quitclaim
from RUSD is hereby accepted, and the Town Clerk is authorized to record this resolution and its
Exhibits "1 "21', and "3" as described above.
