A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TIBURON
COMMENDING ERIN TOLLINI
FOR HER YEARS OF DISTINGUISHED SERVICE TO TME TOWN OF TIBURON
WHEREAS, Erin and Mike Tollini arrived in Tiburon in 2008 after searching the length
and breadth of this great country to find just the right place to call hoine, and almost immediately
thereafter began searching for opportunities to participate in the local community; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Tiburon, in its infinite wisdom, ascertained Erin's combination
of intelligence, commitment and talents and saw fit to appoint her to the Belvedere-Tiburon Joint
Recreation Committee in 2008 and then to the Planning Commission in 2010; and
WHEREAS, in 2013, Erin answered the call to service to fill the remainder of
Councilmember Dick Collins' term, after his untimely demise, and has performed her duties on
the Town Council with intelligence, dedication and aplomb; and
WHEREAS, Erin also served with distinction as Vice Mayor in 2014-2015 and Mayor in
2015-2016, during which she displayed strong leadership, good humor and a positive attitude;
played an important role in helping the Town Council resolve difficult policy issues; and was
unafraid to voice opposing viewpoints in a constructive manner; and
WHEREAS, Erin has been an advocate for families in Tiburon and promoted numerous
efforts to further engage the community, strongly supported the Yellow Bus Challenge and was
instrumental in the creation of the Tiburon Farmer's Market, establishing a (hopefully) ongoing
legacy of bringing families and friends together on a regular basis and enhancing the vibrancy of
Downtown Tiburon; and
WHEREAS, Erin and Mike have inexplicably decided to leave the paradise that is
Tiburon to return to the Least Coast, leaving the Town the poorer for their absence but the richer
for our all too brief experience with them.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Town Council of the Town of Tiburon does hereby thank
Erin Tollini for her distinguished service to the Town of Tiburon, and sincerely hopes she will
take the best part of her Tiburon experience with her to enrich the lives of alII around her.
