RESOLUTION NO. 257
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
ADOPTING A MUNICIPAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1969-70.
\ WHEREAS the eity l-tmager has submitted to the Committee on Finance
and Administration a preliminary budget for the fiscal year 1969-1970;
AND WHEREAS said Committee has amended and reported the budget out
to the eity Council as containing provisions for the expenditure of municipal
funds and resources on hand or expected to accrue during the current fiscal
year, as shown in the various schedules, exhibits and other data of said budget;
AND WHEREAS said City Council now finds that said tentative budget
provides for all appropriate municipal purposes and services within the current
resources and anticipated revenues for the said fiscal year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT said budget is hereby approved and adopted as the municipal
budget for the City of Tiburon for the fiscal year 1969-1970, and all expendi-
tures, encumbrances, transfers and appropriations set forth therein are also
approved;
AND PROVIDED FURTHER THAT, the City Mlnager may make adjustments
between functions and activities within the budget provided that no increase
in total fund appropriations results, and provided that no increase or diminish-
ment in salaries results other than is provided for by the Personnel System,
and provided that no expenditure or encumbrance contingent on contract, agree-
ment or other engagement requiring approval of the City eouncil shall be made
until such contract, agreement or other engagement is first approved by the
Ci ty Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
eity of Tiburon held on
