Home My WebLink AboutTC Res 1969-02-24 RESOLUTION NO. 232 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF 'lBE CITY OF TIBURON APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED REEDLAND WOODS UNIT NO. 2 (1969-1) (TIBURON HILLS) TO THE CITY OF TlBURON. WHEREAS, the petition proposing that the territory described in Exhibit A attached hereto, hereinafter referred to as Reedland Woods Unit No. 2 (1969-1) (Tiburon Bills), be annexed to the City of Tiburon, was duly received by tbe City Council of the City of Tiburon; and WHEREAS, said petition is signed by all the owners of the property included within said territory; and WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of tiburon, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Hirin; and WHEREAS, said petition bas heretofore been filed with the Local Agency Formation Commission of tbe County of Marin, pursuant to Section 35310.1 and 54797.1 of the Government Code; and / \ WHEREAS, on February 6, 1969, said Commission, in accordance with Section 54797.l of the Government Code, approved said proposed annexation and authorized the City Council of the City of Tiburon to annex said territory without notice and hearing, and without election; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: THAT the City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby approve the annexation to the City of Tiburon of said described territory, and does hereby further declare that tbe said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Tiburon. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City Council is hereby directed to immediately prepare and transmit to the Secretary of State a certified copy of this resolution.
