RESOLUTION NO. 9
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TIBURON AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO
A CONTRACT WITH THE STATE BOARD OF EQUALIZATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiburon on the
23rd day of June, 1964, adopted Ordinance No.~, imposing a
city sales and use tax and providing for the performance by the
State Board of Equalization of all functions incident to the ad-
ministration, operation and collection of sales and use taxj
and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of the Revenue and Taxa-
tion Code, a contract for State administration of such local
sales and use tax must be entered into;
NO\'J, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the ~l'layor be
authorized to enter into an agreement with the State Board of
Equalization for the collection of said sales and use tax at
the rates contained within the said contract.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of
the City of Tiburon on the 23rd day of June, 1964 by the fol-
lowing vote:

Hannahs, Ellinwood
NOES:
Councilmen: None
