RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTI0N AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EX-
ECUTE JO~NT POWERS AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Tiburon a form of proposed agreement whereby the City
of Tiburon and County of Marin may jointly purchase various
materials, supplies and equipment which mi5ht be required; and
vrHEREAS, there has been presented to the City Council of
the City of Tiburon a form of agreement whereby the City of Tiburon
and County of Marin agree that under certain circumstances they may
jointly exercise their respective powers to purchase various items
necessary to the proper operation of said governments; and
\'mEREAS, the Council deems it to the best interests of the
City of Tiburon to enter into such an agreement with the County;
NO\.-! THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a JOINT
POWERS AGREE~mNT with the County of Marin, a copy of which said
agreement is attached hereto as Exhibit A.
