RESOLUTION NO. ~4
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
COMMENDING MEMBERS OF THE TIBURON FIRE
DISTRICT AND VOLUNTEERS
WHEREAS, on August 10, 1964, a fire of serious proportions
threatened the lives, safety and property of residents and inhabi-
tants of the City of Tiburonj and
WtiEREAS, as a Qirect result of the immediate response and
action taken by the ~iburon Fire District, and the skill, courage
and bravery of its members and the members of the volunteers, the
fire was promptly,c0ntrolled and extinguished with a minimum of
damage resultingj
NOW THEREF~RE, be it hereby resolved that the City of
Tiburon does by ,these presents formally express its appreciation
and gratitude: to the members of the District and its volunteers
for a job well done and the City Manager is directed to forward a
CGPy of this resolution to the Tiburon Fire District and its
Volunteer Organization.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the
