A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON ADOPTING A SELECT
SYSTEM OF CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiburon, County of Marin, has
adopted Resolution No.7 dated June 23, 1964, indicating its desire to receive
funds made available by the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act;
and
WHEREAS, in order to accumulate the matching credits required by S & H Code
Section 186.5 it is necessary that the City modify its Select System of City
streets in accordance with the provisions of Section 186.3 of the Streets and
Highways Code; and
WHEREAS, this Council by Resolution dated September 28, 1964, did adopt a
Modified Select System of City Streets; and
WHEREAS, it now becomes necessary to amend the aforementioned Modified
Select System in order to meet the requirements of the Act;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Cotmcil of the City of Tiburon that
that certain map dated December 16, 1964, entitled I~p of Select System of City
Streets & Highways, City of Tiburon, California" and the accompanying report
entitled IlSelect System Report, City of Tiburon, December 16, 1964,11 which have
been prepared for consideration of the California Highway Commission, copies of
which are on file in the offices of the City Clerk and City Engineer and incor-
porated herein as if set out in full herein are hereby approved and adopted; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that three (3) copies of this resolution be filed
with said map and report in the office of the Department of Public Works, State
of California, through the District Office of the Division of Highways.
The City Council of the City of Tiburon hereby petitions the California
Highway Commission to approve the aforementioned map and report.
