RESOLUTION NO. 75
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON ADOPTING A
MUNICIPAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1965-66.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has presented to the City Counci I a budget for the fiscal
year 1965-66, containing exhibits, schedules and other pertinent data supporting
said proposed budget;
AND WHEREAS, said budget contains provIsIons for the expenditue of municipal funds
and resources on hand or expected to accrue during said fiscai year as shown in the
various schedules, exhibits and other particulars of said budget;
AND WHEREAS the City Counci I has considered said budget, both as to proposed
expenditures and anticipated revenues;
AND WHEREAS, the City Counci I finds that said proposed budget provides for ai'
appropriate municipal purposes and services within the currGnt resources and
anticipated revenues for the fiscal year;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That said budget is hereby approved and adopted and al I expenditues, encumberances,
transfers and appropriations set forth therein arG approved for the current fiscal
yea r .
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Manger may, from time to time, make
adjustments between expenditure accounts within functions, or between functions which
are a part of the operating segment of the budget, providing that such adjustments or
transfers do not increase the total appropriation for operations, and provided further
that such adjustments or transfers respecting salaries or allowances cannot be made
so as to change individual salaries or allowances without authorization of the City
Counci I;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That no transfer or re-al location of resources or revenues as set forth in said
budget may be made without approval of the City Counci I by resolution;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Manager shal I prepare and present quarterly
budget performance statements and otherwise keep the City Counci ( informed of al!
matters of importance affecting the abi I ity of the administration to perform the
services and accompl ish the purposes provided for the in the budget hereby adopted.
