RESOLUT ION NO. 78
A RESOLUT I ON OF THE CITY OF T I BURON EXTEND I NG
THE COMPLI MENTS AND GRAT 1 TUOE OF THE CITY COUNC 1 L
TO ~. THOMAS DROHAN AND MR. JOHN M:; CHESNEY
WHEREAS on the 26th day of January, 1965, Gordon W. Strawbridge, Mayor of the
City of Tlburon, did, with the consent of the City Council, appoint Mr. Thomas
Drohan Chainman and Mr. John McChesney Co-Chalrman of the Citizens Advisory
Committee for Planning;
AND WHEREAS, time being of the essence, it was necessary to organize the operations
of the committee with great dispatch and efficiency and set about making an
analysis of the community and seeking an expression of the spirit and will of
it's people;
AND WHEREAS, Mr. Drohan and Mr. McChesney did exhibit the most profound sense of
mission and did accompl ish the inspiration of the committee to produce precisely
within the time and framework set for It's accomplishment an extraordinary report
most comprehensively speaking the thoughts and ambitions of the committee of
citizens;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council does warmly commend and
compliment Mr. Thomas Drohan and Mr. John McChesney for their devotion, ski I I
and leadership in the aforesaid undertaking, and does commend them to al I their
fel low citizens as representative of the spirit of participation and responsibi lity
which distinguishes our form of representative government.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Tiburon on
the 9th day of August
, 1965, by the following vote:
