RESOLUT ION NO. ...!QL
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON RE-NAMING A PORTION OF FORMER STATE HIGH-
WAY KNOWN AS TIBURON BOULEVARD TO GREENWOOD BEACH
ROAD
WHEREAS on 14 June 1965 the City Council adopted a Minute Order expressing the
intent to re-name a portion of Tiburon Boulevard in the Greenwood Beach area
upon abandonment of said portion to the City by the State of California; and
WHEREAS the motion of intent to re-name said portion as Greenwood Beach Road
carried after due consideration for the wishes of the residents who expressed
no opposition to the proposal; and
WHEREAS the City Council, by its Resolution No. 99, has now accepted relinquish-
ment of said street by the State of California, namely, Relinquishment No. 31418;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that said portion of said street be and it is hereby
named Greenwood Beach Road, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Construction and Maintenance is
ordered to cause the placement of appropriate signs so designating the street;
and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the City Clerk is instructed to record a certified
copy of this resolution in the office of the Recorder of the County of Marin
and to forward other certified copies of this resolution to all appropriate
public agencies.
