RESOLUTION NO. 104
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
EXPRESSING APP~IATION TO GORDON W. STRAWBRIDGE
WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of June, in the year Nineteen Hundred Sixty-Four, the
people of Tiburon did resolve in free election to take upon themselves the
solemn obligation of local rule, and did thereby cause to be formed the City
of Tiburon, a municipal corporation under the laws of the State of California;
AND WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of June, in the year Nineteen Hundred Sixty-Four,
the first City Council of said City did meet for the purpose of choosing one
of their number to serve as Mayor of said City, to guide, encourage and repre-
sent the citizens and their government;
AND WHEREAS said City Council did repose full faith and confidence in

STRAWBRIDGE
as a citizen and representative altogether worthy of the honorable office of
Mayor, and did therefore elect him to said office;
AND WHEREAS
G 0 R DON W.
STRAWBRIDGE
by his patience, by his integrity, by his devotion to his grave responsibilities,
and by his determination did achieve for the office of Mayor of Tiburon public
respect and general admiration;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That this City Council does express its appreciation and regard for

STRAWBRIDGE
as a man, as a devoted citizen, and as respected leader.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meet 108 of the City Council of the City of Tiburon on
the 19th day of AD r i I
, 1966, by the following vote:
