RESOLUTION ~
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TlnURON COMMENDING THE PLANNING
COM1lISSION
WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Tiburon has, since its
organization on July 10, 1964, effectively and with determination treated
the numerous environmental problems confronting this community at the
outset of its corporate life;anc!
WHEREAS, under the chairmanship of Mr. Stephen H. Nash, said commission,
and each of its members, severally and individually, has given in full
measure of their talents and energies towards the achievement of sound
and inspiring policies and objectives; and
WHEREAS it is fitting and proper that this City Council commend said
commission for its efforts, and encourage them towards further achievement;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
That the City Council of the City of Tiburon does express to:
Stephen H. Nash
Peter Macgowan
Joseph C. Marshall
Helen Newman
Erik Rettig
its confidence in their ability and appreciation of their efforts;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That this City Council does encourage those citizens newly-appointed to
the Planning Commission, namely:
John J. Berryman
Alton S. Lee
John G. McChesney
to join with their peers on the Commission in continued enterprise and
achievement to the end that the City of Tiburon may evolve in the pattern
and philosophy desired by the earnest and dedicated residents thereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Tiburon
on the 9th day of May, 1966, by the following vote:

COUNCILMEN: Bremer, Drohan, Fanning, Strawbridge, Hoffmire
