RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TIBURON NOMINATING MRS. AGNES KIRCHER
AS A CANDIDATE FOR RECOGNITION AS OUTSTANDING
SENIOR CITIZEN OF MARIN COUNTY FOR THE YEAR
1966
WHER&\S Mrs. Agnes Kircher has served her community and its citizens
continuously as a member of the board of the Tiburon Sanitary District,
both as its chairman and secretary at various times; as manager of the
Village Salvage Shop; ~s a charter member of the Tiburon Peninsula Club;
has served as a member of the Juvenile probation Committee; as a charter
member of the Landmarks Society; as a member of the Redwood Garden Club;
has served on numerous election boards; has served on the Citizens Advisory
Committee for PlanQing; and
WHEREAS Mrs. Agnes Kircher has during this time also given freely of her
devotion to her eight children and sixteen grand children; has lent of
her talents and energies to the welfare and happiness of the people with
whom she is associated; and
WHEREAS by her nature, by her interest and by her generosity she continues
to exemplify the virtues of good citizenship and social responsibility.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Tiburon
does earnestly endorse the nnme of Agnes Kircher as being altogether
worthy of consideration for the honor for which she is hereby nominated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council of the City of Tiburon
on the 9th day of May, 1966, by the following vote:
