RESOLUTION NO. ~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURO~ ~~THORIZING SIGNING AND ENDORSING CHECKS
AND OTHER INSTRUMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Crocker-Citizens National Bank, at the Tiburon-
Belveder~ office, the Sierra National Bank, Tiburon~ and the Bank
of America, Tiburon and Mill Valley, are hereby selected and
designated as the depositories of funds of the City of Tlburon, and
that a checking account be established and maintained by and in the
name of this City at said banks, upon and subject to such terms and
condition as the Councilmen hereinafter designated, or any of them,
may from time to time agree upon with said banks, and
2. That all checks, drafts and other instruments in the
amount of $250 or less, and all payroll checks for the payment
from said account or at said offices be signed on behalf of the
City of Tiburon by Bert Balmer and one of the following: Samuel
H. Shapero, Robert L. Kleinert, and Louise Hirata; or one of the
preceding and one of the following: Anne Ellinwood, Carlisle
Becker, Branwell Fanning, Denis T. Rice or Albert Sennett
3. That all other checks, drafts and other instruments
for payment from said account or at said offices be signed on
behalf of the City of Tiburon by Samuel M. Shapero, Bert Balmer,
Robert L. Kleinert, Louise Hirata, and one of the following:
Anne Ellinwood, Carlisle Becker, Branwell Fanning, or Albert
Sennett.
4. THAT any checks, drafts or other instruments for the pay-
ment of money, endorsed on behalf of the City for deposit with or
collection by said banks, may be so endorsed in the name of the
City by written or sta~p~d endorsement, without designation or
signature of the person making such endorsement; and
5. THAT the City Clerk be and hereby is authorized and directed
to certify to said banks that this Resolution has been duly adopted,
and is in con:ormi~y with tbe laws of the City, and to further certify
to said banks the names and specimen signatures of persons authorized
to sign as aforesaid, and, if and when any change be made, the fact
of such change and the name and specimen signature of each new of-
ficial of the City authorized to sign; and
6. THAT said banks be and hereby are requested and autborized
to honor, receive, certify or pay any such instrument signed or
endorsed in accordance with this Resolution and the certification then
in effect as above provided for, including any such instrument drawn
or endorsed to the personal order of, or presented for negotiation
or encasbment by, ~ny official signing or end6rsing the same; and
7. THAT this Resolution and each certification shall remain
in full force and effect, and said banks are authorized and requested
to rely and act thereon, until they shall receive at their office to
which the certifie( copy of this Resolution is delivered, either a
certified copy of a further Resolution of the City Council of the
City of T1buron am~~ding or rescinding this Resolution or a further

certification as above provided for, as the case may be; and
7. THAT Resolution No. 292 is hereby rescinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon on May 10 , 1971, by the following
