RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TIBURON ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF A NOTICE
OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE ANNEXATION PETITION
WHEREAS The Annexation Act of 1913 requires that
proponents of annexation proceedings first publish Notice of
Intent to circulate petition before undertaking such circulation,
and after such publication file with the City Clerk of the City
a copy of the notice and accompanying statement; and
WHEREAS said Notice of Intention was duly published
in accordance with the requirements of the Act on the 17th day
of March 1971; and
WHEREAS the Acting City Clerk has certified to this
City Council that a copy of the notice and accompanying
statement and an affidavit of the publication has been duly filed
with the City Clerk's office;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That this City
Council does hereby consent to the circulation of petition for
the annexation to the City of Tiburon of those lands described
and set forth in the aforesaid Notice of Intention.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tituron held on
March 22
