RESOLUTION NO. 325
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TIBURON CONSENTING TO THE COMMENCEMENT
OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
LANDS TO THE CITY OF TIBURON PURSUANT TO
PROVISIONS OF THE ANNEXATION ACT OF 1913.
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the County
of Marin has approved the City of Tiburon's application for annexa-
tion of territory generally described as West Peninsula Annexation
No.2 consisting of neighborhoods and acreage northerly of Tiburon
Boulevard, familiarly known as Bel Aire, Eagle Rock, Bay View
Heights and various undeveloped parcels; also, the Pelican Hills
and Tiburon Hill Estates apartment complexes; and
WHEREAS, the City of Tiburon is authorized to be the conduc-
ting body for further proceedings pursuant to the provisions of the
Annexation Act of 1913; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 35108 of said act, said Planning
Commission had duly adopted and filed its report and recommendations;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT, pursuant to Section 35106 of said act the Tiburon City
Council does hereby give its consent to the commencement of pro-
ceedings for annexation to the City of Tiburon those lands herein-
before described and as indicated by the Local Agency Formation
Commission of the County of Marin Resolution No. 70-39, dated
September 16, 1970.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon held on December 7, 1970, by the following
vote:
