RESOLUTION NO. 312
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON EMPOWERING THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND
THE PARKS & RECREATION CO~4ISSION TO PREPARE
JOINTLY A PARL OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION ELEMENT
OF THE GENERAL PLAN.
WHEREAS, the City of Tiburon needs a Park, Open Space and
Recreation Element of the General Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is the Planning Agency of
the City; and
WHEREAS, the Parks & Recreation Commission's primary function
is the study of the various portions of the Park, Open Space and Recre-
ation Element.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
THAT the Planning Commission and the Parks & Recreation
Commission be jointly empowered and instructed to prepare the Park,
Open Space and Recreation Element of the General Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon held on September 14, 1970, by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILHEN: Becker, Ellinwood, Fanning, Sennett, Rice
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
