RESOLUTION NO. 291
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON COMMENDING CERTAIN ELECTION OFFICIALS.
WHEREAS, by process of law, it became necessary for this
City Council to order that on the 20th day of April, 1970, the
ballots cast at the Uunicipal Election conducted on the 14th of
April, 1970, be totally recounted; and
WHEREAS, that recount was conducted expeditiously, fairly
and efficiently by the following election officials of this city:
Hary Estudillo
Alice Oldag
Elizabeth Talbot
Vivienne Winblad
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
THAT this City Council compliments and commends each and
every member of the aforesaid special recount board for the responsible
manner in which they conducted the recount, thereby permitting the
reorganization of this City Council to proceed in an orderly fashion.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon on the llth day of May, 1970, by the followinp
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Becker, Ellinwood, Fanning, Sennett, Rice
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
