RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
VACA TING, TERMINATING AND ABANDONING THE RIGHT TO ACCE PT
THE OFFER OF DEDICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC
ST&~ET AND HIGHWAY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, by map recorded January 7, 1908, in the Office of the County
Recorder of Marin County, the hereafter described property was offered for
dedication by the Corinthian Island Company to the County of Marin for street
and highway purposes;
WHEREAS, the City of Tiburon, upon its incorporation, succeeded to the rights
of the County of Marin under said offer of dedication; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiburon desires to vacate, terminate
and abandon its right to accept said offer of dedication,
NO~, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved, ordered and declared as follows:
1. The City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby find that the pro-
perty hereafter more particularly described is unnecessary for present or pros-
pective public street purposes.
2. That the City of Tiburon does hereby vacate, terminate and abandon the
right to accept the offer of dedication for street or highway purposes of the
following described real property:
"Beginning at a point lrlhich bears North 780 03' 03" West 9.443 feet
and South 800 18' 46" West, 43.272 feet from the intersection of those
two certain courses '~rth 490 49' West, 116 feet" and '~rth 730 19'
West, 273.7 feet" describing the centerline of the old County road
from Tiburon to Belvedere, now Main Street in the City of Tiburon,
which point is also the most easterly corner of Lot 71 of the Corrected
Map of Co=inthian Island as defined by the Record of Survey of the same,
filed in the office of the County Recorder for the County of Marin in
Vol. 7 of Official Surveys at page 85 and running thence South 60 48' 09"
West, 11.593 feet to the true point of beginning of the hereinafter des-
cribed property, thence along a circular arc curving to the right, whose
center bears North ISO 06' 10" East, 352.959 feet and whose central angle
is 80 37' 34" to the southerly line of wt 71, above-mentioned, thence
along said southerly line North 830 ll' 51" West, 99.068 feet and leaving
said lot line, South 720 40' 46" East, 51.008 feet, thence along a cir-
cular arc curving to the left, whose center bears North 170 19' 14" East,
365.535 feet through a central angle of 30 07' 27"; running next South
750 48' 13" Fast, 16.52 feet and continuing along a circular arc curving
to the left, whose center bears North 140 ll' 47" East 61.67' through a
central angle of 80 20' 5611; thence South 840 09' 09" East, 41.512 feet,
and continuing easterly along a tangential curve to the right whose
radius is 201.353 feet and whose central angle is 40 02' 18" to a point
Dbichbears South 60 48' 09" West from the point of beginning, thence
North 60 48' 09" East, 3.024 feet to the point of beginning."
