HomeMy WebLinkAboutTC Res 1972-03-13 RESOLUTION NO.~ A RESOLUTION CONSOLIMTING VOTING PRECINCTS, APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS, FIXING POUING PlACES AND ESU\BLISHING COMPENSA nON FOR ELECTION OFFICERS. WHEREAS a general municipal election in the City of Tiburon has been called fo~ April 11, 1972 in accordance with the provisions of Section 36503 et seq of tbe Election Code of the State of California; AND WHEREAS Section 1618 and Section 22805 of the Election Code of the State of California require that the City Council appoint election officers, establish polling places and do certain other things appropriate to the conduct of the afore. said municipal election; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: For the general municipal election to be held in the City of Tiburon on Tuesday. 11 April, 1972, there shall be four voting precincts consisting of consolidations of the regular election precincts in the City of Tiburon established for tbe holding of State and County elections; That the polling places for the respective precincts shall be the places hereinafter designa ted ; And that the persons hereinafter named are hereby appointed officers of election for their respective voting precincts; ~~~cinct.#30l5~, comprising regular election precincts #3300 and #3301. Polling Place: Tiburon Baptist Church, 445 Greenwood Beach Road Inspector: Doris E. Held Judge: Marjorie Hawes Clerk: Ruth C. Seibert Clerk: Elise Christiansen Votin2 Precinct #3016, and #3303. Polling Place: Inspector: Judge: Clerk: Clerk: comprising regular election precincts 43302 Del M:lr School, 105 Avenida Vivienne Winblad Florence Tyne Dorothy Hart Betty Columbo Mira Flores Votin2 Precinct #3017, comprising and #3307. Polling Place: Inspector: Judge: Clerk: Clerk: regular election precincts #3304 Reed School, 1199 Tiburon Helen Davis Margaret J. Schild Barbar Spitzer Mary Poole Boulevard Votin2 Precinct #3018, comprising and #3306. Polling Place: Inspector: Judge: Clerk: Clerk: regqlar election precincts #3305 Tiburon City Hall Council Chambers, 80 Main Street Gladys M. Hixon Miriam M. Grbac Marguerite Armitage Fleeta F. Foster The polls will be open between the hours of 7:00 o'clock a.m. and 7:00 o'clock p.m. - 1 - Draft Date: 3/13/72 and provided further that; Compensation for election officers shall be: inspectors $25.00 $22.00 $20.00 Judges Clerks and shall be paid as the regular election expense separate and apart from payroll salaries.
