RESOLUTION NO.400
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO PARKS &
RECREA TION COloMSSIONER POLLY SHIm
FOR OUTSTANDING AND DEVOTED SERVICE
WHEREAS, Polly Smith has faithfully served as a Commissioner
on the Tiburon Parks & Recreation Commission from its inception in
July, 1966 through July of 1971, when she resigned to accept appoint-
ment to the Marin County Parks & Recreation;
WHEREAS, as a Commissioner and as a Chairman of the Commission
willingly and generously contributed her time, energy and ability in
those matters coming before the Commission; and
WHEREAS, these many efforts and contri~utions have ultimately
led to the betterment of all Tiburon;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,
That the City Council of the City of Tiburon does hereby
express its sincere appreciation on behalf of the citizens of
Tiburon to Polly Smith for her devoted services as a Parks &
Recreation Commissioner.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City -Council
of the City of Tiburon held on December 13.
