RESOLUTION NO.~
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
ON CRFA TING PASSENGER LOADING ZONES AND LOADING ZONES ON
TIBURON BOULEVARD.
\~rlERFAS, there is substantial automobile traffic generated in downtown
Tiburon by citizens commuting by ferry to San Francisco and
w1k~S, at ce:::'tain times of the d.lY it is desirable that there be sub-
stantial turnover in available parking spaces to facilitate passenger loading and
WHEREAS, there is also substantial need fo~ loading zones to accommodate
business and commercial traffic within the City of Tiburon and
WHEREAS, the need for passenger loading zones and loading zones occurs in
some cases on Tiburon Boulevard, State Highway 131, and
~uillREA~ the State of California Division of Highways requires a resolution
by the City of Tiburon for the Division's approval before such zones can be created
NOW, THEREFORE, P-Z IT RESOLVED:
THAT a Passenger Loading Zone is hereby established in accordance with
Section 12 of Chapter 23 of the Tiburon City Code in the following location:
Beginning at a point in the northeasterly line of State Highway 131
(Tiburon Boulevard) s~id point lying northwesterly 220' northwesterly
of the southeesterly terminus of said right-of-way line thence north-
westerly ISO'; and

Ta~T a Loading Zone is created in the following locations:
Beginning at the interesection of the southerly line of Juanita Lane
with the south~esterly line of State Highway 131 (Tiburon Boulevard)
thence southeasterly along said southwesterly line 55 feet more or
less.
