RESOLUTION NO. 393
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF TIBURON AUTHORIZING THE
HAYOR TO MAKE AN OFFER TO PURCHASE
STRAttffiERRY COVE.
~mEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of Tiburon to
purchase the land area known as Strawberry Cove so that it may
be preserved for public use; and
t~REAS, the City has been negotiating with the owner of the
property to purchase the Cove.
NON, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the Mayor is authorized to make a firm offer of $125,000
for the grant deed to the Strawberry Cove property owned by
Leonard Fleischman, payable $25,000 in cash at the close of escrow
with the balance of $100,000 payable in four installments, the
last installment being December 31, 1975, and the first being
December 31, 1972. This offer is contingent upon successful comple-
tion of West Peninsula Annexation No.1.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon, held on September 27, 1971, by the fOllowing
vote:
