ACKNCX-lLEDGING RECEIPT OF A NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE
ANNEXATION PETITION - l-lEST PENINSULA ANNEXATION NO. 1 -

fniEREAS The Annexation Act of 1913 requires that proponents of
annexation proceedings first publish Notice of Intent to circulate petition
before undertaking such circulation, and after such publication file with the
City Clerk of the City City a copy of the notice and accompanying statement; and
tiHEREAS said Notice of Intention was duly published in accordance with
the requirements of the Act on the 12th day of May 1971; and
WHEREAS the City Clerk has certified to this City Council that a copy
of the notice and accompanying statement and an affidavit of the publication
has been duly filed with the City Clerk's office;
NC:X~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That this City Council does hereby
consent to the circulation of petitiQn for the annexation to the City of Tiburon
of those lands described and set forth in the aforesaid Notice of Intention.
