A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBtmON
FINDING THAT THE STRUCTURE LOCA'l'BD AT 1885 mRADISE
DRIVE IS A PUBLIC NUISANCE AND ORDERING ITS ABATEMENT
WHEREAS: that certain building located at 1885 Paradise Drive on property
described as A. P. 59-160-14 appears to ~onstitute a public nuisance by reason of
its dilapidation and abandonment and;
WHEREAS: it has been found that the structure is in fact a public and an
attractive nuisance for the above reasons; and
WHEREAS: notice bas been duly given and the property posted in accordance
with Section 24-3 of the Municipal Code, and
WHEREAS: the structure is an attraction to children in the area presenting
a danger to their well being.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City CoucH of the City of Tiburon
does declare the structure to be a public nuisance and does hereby order its
abatement by demolition or permanent repair as determined by the City *nager,
in acco~ance with the provisions as set forth in Section 24-5 of the Municipal
Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a reRular meetinR of the City Council of the City of
Tiburon held on December 11th. 1972, by the following vote:
