RESOLUTION NO. 489
A RESOLlITION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBURON
DESIGNATING REDEVELOPMENT SURVEY AREA A.
WHEREAS, the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of Cali-
fornia (Health and Safety Code Sections 33310 through 33312) provides
authority for the designation and description by resolution of the
City Council of a Survey Area in order to determine if a redevelopment
project or projects within said area are feasible; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Tiburon hereby finds
and determines that the area described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto
and incorporated herein by reference, requires study to determine
whether a redevelopment project or projects within said area are
feas ib Ie;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Tiburon, as follows:
1. That pursuant to the authority conferred by the'Community
Redevelopment Law of the State of California, the City Council of the
City of Tiburon hereby designates the area described in the said Exhibit
"A", as Survey Area A. A map of said area is attached hereto as Exhibit
"A-I" and by this reference made a part hereof.
2. That said area requires study to determine whether a rede-
velopment project or projects within said area are feasible.
3. That the City Planning Commission is hereby directed to
make the preliminary plans and studies required by the Community Re-
development Law for the redevelopment of all or any portion of the area.
Said preliminary redevelopment plan or plans shal~ be prepared in accor-
dance with said Community Redevelopment Law and shall include a prelimi-
nary financial analysis of the proposed redevelopment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Tiburon held on November 27, 1972, by the following vote:

BOUNDARY DESCRIPTION OF REDEVELOPMENT
SURVEY AREA II A"
Beginning at a point on Tiburon Blvd. that is the northwesterly corner of
the property known as the Hilarita Housing Project and running easterly
along said property and connecting with public utility easement and then so
along said easement to Round Hill Round, thence southerly to Lyford Drive,
thence easterly to Vistazo West, thence northerly along easterly boundary
of Marinero Residence Units land 2 following said line to and around the
northeasterly limits of Tiburon and running southwesterly to Centro West
and running along said street to Las Lomas Lane, connecting to Mar West
Street, thence south easterly to the Tide lot line in Raccoon Straits
running westerly along said line to limits of Tiburon, thence northerlv
.llong said line through Corinthian Island and along limits of Belvedere
and Tiburon Blvd. culminating at the intersection of San Rafael Ave.
