RESOLUTION NO. 484
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TIBtJRON
OF ITS IN'lENTION TO AMEND '1'HE HOUSING ELEMENT OF '1'HE
TIBURON GENDAL PIAN,' mE TIBmtON ZONING.' ORDIllUCE ~ AND
TIm SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE. .
WBEREAS~ the City Council finds it necessary for the public health,
safety and welfare to consider amendments to the Rousing Element of the Tiburon
General Plan to regulate the conversion of apartments to coodominiu.s and to
provide for an appropriate mix in the residential cOUIDUDity of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Tiburon Zoning Ordinance provides that an amendment to the
ordinance may be initiated by resolution of tbe City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Tiburon
does hereby declare its intention to amend the Housing Element of the Tiburon
General Plan and tbe Tiburon Zoning Ordinance for the purposes set forth above, :
and instructs the Planning Commission to conduct a public :hearing on the pro-
posed amendments and to forward to tbe City Council its report following said
public hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Tiburon be1d on October 24. 1972~ by the following vote:
