CITY OF TIBURON
RESOLUTION NO. 455
RESOLUTION DETERMINING THAT THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND
NECESSITY DEMAND THE ACQUISITION, CONSTRUCTION AND COM-
PLETION BY THE CITY OF TIBURON OF THE FOLLOWING MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT, TO WIT: REAL PROPERTY FOR OPEN-SPACE AND
RECREATIONAL PURPOSES; AND THAT THE COST OF SAID MUNICIPAL
IMPROVEMENT WILL REQUIRE AN EXPENDITURE GREATER THAN THE
AMOUNT ALLOWED THEREFOR BY THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Tiburon, as follows:
1. That Resolution No. 446, adopted by this
City Council on June 26, 1972, be and it is hereby
rescinded and repealed.
2. That the public interest and necessity demand
the acquisition, construction and completion by said City
of the following municipal improvement, to wit:
Real property for open-space and recreational
purposes.
3. That the acquisition, construction and com-
pletion of said municipal improvement is necessary and con-
venient to carry out the objects, purposes and powers of
said City.
4'. That the cost of the acquisition, construction
and completion of said municipal improvement is and will be
too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual income and
revenue of said City, and that said municipal improvement
will require an expenditure greater than the amount allowed
therefor by the annual tax levy and that said City should
incur a bonded indebtedness therefor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED July 17, 1972, by the following
vote:

Councilmen: Aramburu, Becker, Fanning, Littman, Sennett
NOES:
None

The foregoing is a full, true and correct copy
of a resolution duly adopted by the Council of said City,
at an adjourned regular meeting of said Council duly and
regularly and legally held at the regular meeting place
thereof on July 17, 1972, of which meeting all of the
members of said Council had due notice and at which two-
thirds thereof was present.
At said meeting said resolution was introduced by
Councilman Fanning
and read in full, and was thereupon,
upon motion of Councilman
Fanning , seconded by Councilman
Becker
, adopted by the following vote.
AYES:
Councilmen Aramburu, Becker, Fanning,Littman, Sennett
NOES:
None
ABSENT:
None
I have carefully compared the same with the original
minutes of said meeting on file and of record in my office
and said resolution is a full, true and correct copy of the
original resolution adopted at said meeting and entered in
said minutes.
The original resolution has not been amended, modi-
fied or rescinded since the date of its adoption and the
same is now in full force and effect.
