RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCn.. OF THE CITY OF
TIBURON RELEAS ING LIEN IMPOSED BY RESOLUTION NO. 166
WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 166 adopted by the City Council
of the City of Tiburon on August 30, 1967, a lien was imposed upon
the real property owned by Raymond D. Noel and Virginia F. Noel,
located at 34 Reed Ranch Road, Tiburon, California, and more parti-
cularly described as follows: .
Lot 112 as shown on that certain map entitled
"Map of Reed1ands Unit 3", filed September 4,
1958 in Book 10 of Maps at page 4, Marin County
Records
and
WHEREAS, said lien was imposed for the purpose of securing
reimbursement to the City of Tiburon for costs incurred by it in
abating a nuisance that existed on said property; and
WHEREAS, litigation regarding said real property thereafter
ensued between the owners of said property and the City of Tiburon
and others; and
WHEREAS, said litigation has now been settled and as part of
said settlement the City of Tiburon has agreed to forego the reimburse-
ment aforementioned and to release said lien;
NOW, THEREFORE ~ BE IT RESOLVED: '
1. That the City of Tiburon hereby waives all right to
reimbursement for the costs previously incurred by it in abating the
nuisance on the aforementioned real property.
2. That the lien imposed by Resolution No. 166, a certified
copy of which was recorded in Book 2161, page 644, Official Records
of Marin County, is hereby released.
3. That the City Council directs that certified copies of
this resolution be transmitted to the Marin County Recorder for re-
cordation and to the Marin County Assessor, Tax Collector and Auditor.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Tiburon held on April 24, 1972, by the following vote:
